To Ballarat

I had writen this post, but one of the photos needed rotating or deleting, and when I thought I'd deleted the picture the whole post had disappeared...so here I go again!

We left Castlemaine around 10.45am. Just before Daylesford there was a place called Cricket Willow where they make cricket bats.

On arrival in Ballarat we found a good van park right next door to the Eureka centre...great showers with glass screens! That night we watched a DVD on the computer...The Pianist..WW2 movie about a survivor...directed by Roman Polanski who was also a survivor from those awful days.

Next day we went off to Sovereign Hill. There were lots of things to see and do that were gold rush related. In the evening we went to the show..Blood on The Southern Cross. It was amazing. You need to see it..full of surprises.

After the night show we went back to the van and watched another DVD...Waitress
